La Coulée d'Ambrosia 'Le Boit Sans Soif' | Grolleau 2013 | Loire Valley France

$47.00

Grolleau is an ancient French variety grown predominantly in the Loire Valley named after the french word for crow 'grolle' because of it's black berries. Generally Grolleau makes wines that are low in alcohol, high in acidity and fresh. This wine is a perfect example. It's super smashy, and full of slatey minerality and dark fruits. Blackcurrants, raspberries, stalky tannin and juicy. This is delicious and very easy drinking. A drink fresh and bright kind of wine.
